The AFL Committee has decided to flex the rule on the PLAYER FORMATIONS for the Mixed Fun Division due to concerns raised by most of the teams that will participate.
OLD RULE: GOALKEEPER: Male or Female ; FIELD PLAYERS: 3 males and 3 females
NEW RULE: GOALKEEPER: Male or Female ; FIELD PLAYERS: Minimum 2 Males and Minimum 2 Females at the same time. (Formation Examples: 2 Males-4 Females OR 3 Males – 3 Females OR 4 Males – 2 Females ARE ALLOWED)
We still encourage that each team have a balanced Male-Female lineup. Maximum 20 Players.
